CASTO members are urged to send articles to our state-wide newsletter CASTOways, that would be of interest to the membership at large.  Submit articles (and pictures) as attachments  via email to Greg Straw, editor:  strawg@gfusd.k12.ca.us
Please do not imbed pictures into the article; pictures should be in jpg, gif, bmp, or pdf format; fliers and announcements work best in pdf format. The deadline is generally the third Friday of the month before the issue month.

CASTOways presents the 2010 ROADEO WORKBOOK
CASTO has put out the 2010 workbook for the upcoming Regional and State-wide Roadeos. Chapter 19 will have its own workbook for the Chapter Roadeo held on April 10th, but for those eager to prepare....

CPT: Career Path Training
This new CASTO program is for CASTO members. It is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to advance your career in the pupil transportation industry. CASTO CPT offers four modules of training: Instructor, Dispatcher, Vehicle Maintenance, and Management/Leadership training. Each module consists of four to eight units. Take the one that will help you head in the right direction. Sessions will soon be available at your local Chapter workshops and at future CASTO State Conferences.

Go to our CPT Page for the details, or attend the next Chapter 19 meeting.

This is a great way to add credentials to your resume. Successful completion of a program earns certification.
